Sadly cats do get separated from their owners.

If you lose your cat please contact us with a description and we will check to see if your cat has arrived at any of our shelters. We will also publicise your loss on this web page in order that other people may be made aware. Send us a brief description of your cat, the area where he or she was last seen and if possible a recent photograph and we will enter the details on this page as soon as we are able. Please email details to:

There are also a number of other things you can do if you lose your cat. Check with your neighbours, possibly using leaflets, to ensure that your cat has not been locked in a garage or garden shed. Place missing posters near your home preferably with a photograph. Contact local vets. They are listed in Yellow Pages. Your local council will be able to tell you if they have collected a cat from the road side after an accident. Talk to your Postman and Milkman. They often cover large areas and talk to many people on their rounds. You could also use small ads in shop windows, local radio and newspapers. Also check with tthe RSPCA, Hull Animal Welfare and Caring for Cats (numbers in telephone directory).

Why not consider having your cat microchipped now to aid your search if he goes missing.

Please remember to let us know if you find your cat to keep this page up to date.
